Starting 01.09.2026, tcworld GmbH is seeking a Working Student (m/f/d) Event Marketing and Conference Organisation to support its events team.

During your studies, you can gain practical experience in event marketing and conference management. You will help organise and market international conferences with several thousand participants, including social media and video content, programme planning and on-site support. The role offers varied insights and room for your own ideas.

Responsibilities

Content and event marketing

  • Support the creation and dispatch of mailings.
  • Create content for LinkedIn and Instagram before, during and after events.
  • Edit images and videos and assist with trailers and speaker videos.
  • Research current topics, ideas and suitable content.
  • Order and coordinate promotional materials.

Conference organisation

  • Help prepare, run and follow up conferences.
  • Check the conference programme on the website, in Excel and in TYPO3 for completeness and consistency.
  • Support communication with speakers and participants.
  • Be present during events and support the team on site.

Requirements

  • Enrolled at a higher-education institution, ideally studying marketing, communications, event management, media or a comparable subject.
  • Enjoy communication, organisation and digital media.
  • Work in a structured, reliable and independent manner.
  • Bring creativity, openness and your own ideas.
  • Have confident command of MS Office 365.
  • Initial experience with image or video editing is an advantage.
  • Have very good German and good English skills.
  • Be willing to support events on site when required.
