tcworld GmbH is a globally leading communication and event agency focused on international information management. It works mainly with tekom, Europe's largest professional association for technical communication, and other international partners. Together with tekom, around 30 employees work in the Stuttgart office. Its main activities are events in Germany and Europe; activities in additional countries are in preparation. The tekom annual conference has 4,500 participants and is described as the world's largest and leading event of its kind. Other business areas include content and certification/training.

Position: From 01.09.2026, the company is seeking a Working Student (m/f/d) in event marketing and conference organisation. The role supports the organisation and promotion of international specialist conferences with several thousand attendees and includes social media, video content, programme planning and on-site support.

Content and event marketing

  • Support with creating and sending mailings.
  • Create content for LinkedIn and Instagram before, during and after events.
  • Edit images and videos and contribute to trailers and speaker videos.
  • Research current topics, ideas and suitable content.
  • Order and coordinate promotional materials.

Conference organisation

  • Support the preparation, delivery and follow-up of conferences.
  • Check the conference programme on the website, in Excel and in TYPO3 for completeness and consistency.
  • Support communication with speakers and participants.
  • Be present during events and support the team on site.

Requirements

  • Enrolled at a higher education institution, ideally in marketing, communication, event management, media or a comparable subject.
  • Interest in communication, organisation and digital media.
  • Structured, reliable and independent way of working.
  • Creativity, openness and willingness to contribute ideas.
  • Confident use of MS Office 365.
  • Initial experience with image or video editing is an advantage.
  • Very good German and good English skills.
  • Willingness to support events on site when needed.
